MARK YOUR CALENDAR - MONDAY, JULY 8TH 7:30-9:00 am Dene Nation, Ecology North, Alternatives North and Weledeh MLA Bob Bromley Present: breakfast with Behn: A discussion of hydraulic fracturing first-hand from Northeastern BC Monday, July 8 from 7:30 to 9:00 am Northern United Place Coffee, tea, juice and a light breakfast will be served. Please join us for a presentation and discussion over breakfast with Caleb Behn, recently featured on the cover of Up Here magazine. Caleb will be discussing his experiences with hydraulic fracturing and the cumulative impacts of shale gas development in Northeastern British Columbia, as a member of the Fort Nelson First Nation. He has recently completed his Juris Doctor degree and is among the first UVic Law students granted the Concentration in Environmental Law and Sustainability. Prior to law school, he was the Oil and Gas Officer for the West Moberly First Nations and a Lands Manager for the Saulteau First Nations. Mr. Behn is the subject of the documentary film: Fractured Land, focused on the impact of hydraulic fracturing and unconventional gas development in Canada and Aotearoa, New Zealand.
