MARTHA BURRIS Prayer request -- to my FB family and friends -- This week I received results of a biopsy / PET scan that was done on an ulcer in my mouth. The cancer has returned (previously diagnosed in January 2012), the PET scan showed the site in my cheek as well as a lymph node on the right side of the neck is affected. Removal and reconstructive surgery is scheduled for 10/14. I do not have all the details of the actual procedure but the Dr. indicated it will require a 5 day hospital stay. The good news is this is totally curable and has not spread anywhere else in my body. I am taking it one step at a time. Thank you for your prayers. Martha - FB 8 p.m. 29 Sep
