MATTHEWS CLOTHING STORE IS MOVING NEXT DOOR. The clothing store will be moving inside of Matthews Five & Dime Store starting on Wednesday Oct. 1st. Expect the same great deals on new clothing just in a more convenient location for you. Luana LaRaviere will still manage the clothing department at the dime store. In mid October the old clothing store will become Matthews Clearance Center. With the continuing success of our dime store, and our commitment to improving the quality and volume of products found in the store, this is causing a dramatic increase in clearance merchandise that is still good, just not up to the standard we now require for the dime store. We will begin offering this scratch n dent household products, tools, & furniture in this store at drastically low prices. This store will be similar to old store that was on the truckers route. We will also hold most of our most popular special sales like Fill-A-Bag and After Christmas Returns at this new store. Derek Weaver is moving to Galax from Sarasota Florida to manage this new venture for us.
