MCAS NEW RIVER/CAMP GEIGER WATER CONSERVATION ADVISORY: The Public Works Division is requesting that all operational units, tenant commands, contractors and fire departments aboard Marine Corps Air Station New River and Camp Geiger to take water conservation measures immediately and limit their water usage to essential use only. A broken pipe was discovered within the water treatment plant that serves MCAS New River and Camp Geiger, and repairs are underway currently and are anticipated to be completed by the end of the day. At present, Public Works does not anticipate any interruption in water service and no reduction in water quality, but water conservation efforts are requested to ensure there is not an interruption in water service.
