MCPON Robert Bob Walker, 3rd MCPON(1975-79) of the worlds finest Navy is represented this week by nine motivated FCPOs and two inspirational CPOs as mentors. Some of MCPON Walkers important accomplishments were standing up the Navys Senior Enlisted Academy, from which virtually all subsequent MCPONs were graduates. He also brought about the Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist program, to add the same professionalism and thorough platform knowledge within the surface community that had been present for decades in the submarine community. In addition, he brought back the iconic Cracker Jack uniforms removed during ADM Zumwalts tenure. Team Walker is carrying the ch as re for our third MCPON this week, and will carry his will and compassion back to the fleet after graduation this friday. #teamwalker #foundryclass002 #seeuonthedeckplates
