MEAL PREP! Just getting warmed up. Time to start cleaning up my diet. Decided to video last minute while I only had 20 min to cook and get back to work. (Feel free to ask any questions!) Asian lettuce wraps! Heres a quick and easy recipe that I just cooked today, so I can get my meals in and not be tempted by fast food. Its basically meat and veggies. I like to keep it simple like that, so I can measure out easily what I need to eat and add my carbs in separately, be it brown rice, jasmine rice, black beans, etc… If you dont want carbs, wrap it in a lettuce leaf and BOOM asian lettuce wrap. If I were dieting down for a competition and being very strict with my food, I would cook the protein separately, weigh out the portion I need, set it aside in individual Tupperware, then grab a big hand full of shredded cabbage and throw it in with the protein. (The veggies raw add a nice crunch.) This way when I weigh my food Im not including the weight of vegetables with my protein. Heres my basic recipe: Ground turkey Garlic powder (lots of garlic) Onion fresh or powdered Cabbage or bag of prepared coleslaw Soy sauce Ground ginger Redpepper flakes Romain Lettuce to wrap (I forgot to show that)
