MEDFORD — An Oregon man who had no luck at video lottery will spend more than seven years behind bars. Prosecutor Karen Loomis says 35-year-old Frankie Parker of Medford attacked a bar employee because he was angry at losing $700, and it took a jury less than an hour to find him guilty of robbery and assault. The Mail Tribune reports Parker spend the night of April 23 drinking and playing lottery at Rumors Lounge. He demanded to be let back in at closing time, saying he left his wallet inside. He burst through the door, slammed a 61-year-old female employee to the ground and choked her. He fled when the woman’s husband emerged from the kitchen and grabbed a pool cue.
