MEDIA LINES • The PNP leadership warns the public on sharing personal information on social networking sites so as not to unwittingly entice criminals into abducting them for ransom. • Furthermore, the public is advice to limit or control the content of their post in social networking sites such as their wealth or material possessions, their time-to-time activities, and travel plans and information. • With the directive of SILG and the C, PNP, the PNP vows to intensify its campaign against kidnapping and other organized crimes, whether it may be on the streets or through social media. • The PNP further assures the public that it will address the reported kidnapping cases and that it will be further strengthen its anti-criminality campaign all throughout the country. • The public’s social responsibility and cooperation is very vital in preventing crime in the community.
