MEDICAL UPDATE During the past two months, there were at least 3 to 4 days that were really awful as I walked through the low part of a dark valley, but the good Shepherd answered your prayers and mine and led me through victoriously. Praise the name of the Lord Jesus. There are still some things that will accomplish through my life. The last six weeks, we’ve been driving (Thelma, Michael, and I) to San Antonio and back to Corpus Christi—three times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays). Last Friday was our last trip to San Antonio. This past Monday, I had my follow up visit with my local Specialist here in Corpus Christi. From now on, if I have to make a follow up visit, it will be here in C.C., Texas. The good report is that my corresponding numbers in my blood are looking good. They are still low but are slowly creeping upward and I am feeling better every day. They will be monitoring my blood levels every week here in C.C., Tx. We are wanting to reach a white blood cell count of 4.5. This will enhance my immune system substantially. It is at 3 right now. Keep praying along with me. Winter is still ahead of us and I must continue dodging all infections, flu, etc. On Jan 7, I will have my 100 day after “Transplant” follow up visit with the Specialist in San Antonio. I’ve been teaching and preaching the Word at “Bethel” here in C.C., during the past two Sundays. I’ll preach the message this Sunday too: “A Child Is Born; A Son Is Given”—10:30 am. Thank you for your continued prayers. You are loved, Sammy Fuentes.
