MEGA-CHURCHES: In a crowd of 22,000 people fellowship is lost,its quite possible though not probable that no one might even know you by name and for some that works well for them,no one gets to know the whats and where about you.so distance and privacy is valued in a Mega-church.As far as the leadership of these spiritual behemoths EGOs are major drivers to making them come alive,without an artful stage master no play can win a Tony, the pulpit is always lit up by the drama with which a minister can deliver the word ,he has to season his sermons with a bit of theatricality,it is media driven and Shameful to admit true most of these MC are now organised religion, Megachurches are big investments - in body count with numbers large enough to fill a stadium and in revenue pulling in millions of dollars annualy "a spiritual place with secular traits". Being media driven make them relevant to the society hence its not a surprise that they exist,and avarage individuals in that setting would rather watch a video than read a book,infact the environment itself is ripe for mega churche phenomenon,withthe increased technology mega churches are now Spiritual techno-hubs were sermons are religious information repackaged and delivered in an intertaining form that congregates of the digital age can appreciate and digest and truth be said most people are looking for lessons that go down easy,if we are entertained along the way,whats the harm? My main concern regarding this issue is the EGO driving the Leadership,thatsame ego can bury the preacher , It is the congregation that anoints its leader,it is the congregation that approves of the behavior emanating from the sanctuary and if the congregation looks the other way when the questionable arises chaos will increase,we also aught to hold accountable the people who lead us spiritually.Thedegree to which they are or are not in the public eye is irrelevent so the next time you come across a service in which lights are up full force,cameras everywhere,projectors and high bass spiritual songs,THINK FOR A MOMENT ABOUT THE BENEFITS THAT THESE CHURCHES PROVIDE.We are living in an age were spirituality and a spiritual home are getting harder and harder to comeby. Ladies and gentleman the numbers of man ought not to be our objectives,God can do a Gideon revival ,cut down the crowds until he remains with a people that can do his mandate..a church is not a spiritual tradefare were you come to see and be seen,were you come to pull deals and distribute your business cards,IT IS PRIMARILY A MEETING PLACE WITH GOD.LETS UPHOLD THE SANCTITY OF OUR CHURCHES AND PRAY FOR OUR LEADERS EVERYTIME.May God bless and guide all the Leaders,Pastors,Bishops,Apostles , and the congregates
