MEMORANDUM FROM THE HOUSE OF HOMESTEAD 001 - The House of Homestead is a territorial diplomatic residence in the USA. Its purpose is the representation of the original House of Homestead, an official micronation which was established on June of 1865 in Andorra. 002 - The House of Homestead was NOT in any type or form related nor engaged with the Principality of Andorra, nor the co-princes of Andorra. 003 - The House of Homestead was and is, a privately owned, medieval residence based on the principles of monarchy. It was also a center for the research and preservation of feudalism, genealogy, heraldry, monarchy and medieval royalty. 005 - Lord Arthur Henry Nieves was the creator of the House of Homestead. He was born a commoner with limited resources in San Sebastian, Spain. From his early childhood, he was fascinated by the subjects of genealogy, heraldry, monarchy and the history of the royal houses of Europe. At the age of 23 he was commissioned into the Royal Navy of Spain as a marine biologist. He served in the naval forces a total of 25 years. During his time in service, he saved most of his earnings with the vision of establishing his very own micronation in Northern Spain. 006 - After retirement from service, Lord Arthur Henry Nieves moved into his privately owned residence in La Massana, Principality of Andorra. 007 - On June of 1865, under tribunal sentence, Lord Arthur Henry Nieves was invested as territorial prince for The House of Homestead. 008 - Prince Arthur Angel Louis Pagan Nieves is six generation grandson of Prince Arthur Henry Nieves. He is today the official house representative and title holder in the USA. 009 - Prince Arthur Angel Louis Pagan Nieves was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and raised part in Spain and part in New York. As territorial prince, he does not receive any salaries nor support from Andorra. He is not a blue blood royal, and neither he is expected to be king. He is recognized, however, by many royal house of Europe and the Middle East as His Territorial Highness Prince Arthur. 010 - Prince Arthur maintains an active agenda with the International Monarchies League as well as the fast growing League of Micronations. 011 - The Diplomatic Residence of The House of Homestead has official representation in Texas, USA.
