You are a true hero to many, especially those of us who organize in the United States to transform our government and society into a true democracy. We can only imagine the happiness of your family and the Cuban people upon your release. We hope that when your mother and wife embrace you, the tears will be combined with smiles. Every time we have met with your family in Cuba, we have been inspired by their strength and resolve to see you free. We hope one day to finally meet you in Cuba.
