** METEOR SHOWER PEAK THIS SATURDAY !! ** - Loch Ken Holiday Park is directly beside the Galloway Forest Park which has been awarded the status of being one of only four Dark Sky Parks in the western world, and the UK’s first Dark Sky Park. - If the most optimistic predictions hold true, then a genuine meteor storm may be in store for sky-watchers, with as many as 200 or more shooting stars per hour flying across our skies at its peak, which will occur between 6am and 8am on May 24th.
