#MH 17 Russia Leaves Bloody Fingerprint At the moment the facts are stacked against Russia. There is no other evidence available other than the indisputable fact that a BUK -1 Surface to Air Missile system was used to shoot down the Malaysian Air Boeing 777. The BUK-1 is not a simple shoulder launched system. It is a fully integrated missile platform that needs at least 4 trained operators. It has a separate radar unit that tracks aircraft and then transfer the information to the missile launch platform. The rebels would not be able to operate it. The conclusion is therefore inescapable. Russian soldiers shot down flight MH17. They have been shooting down Ukrainian aircraft for a week. MH17 was slightly below the safe ceiling and was probably mistaken for a Ukrainian plane and shot down. Putin should accept responsibility, apologise to the world and fully cooperate with the investigation. Nothing less should be demanded and accepted. It was a despicable deed and the ongoing propaganda fools only themselves and denigrate the souls of those who perished.
