MH370 KUL - PEK UPDATES DAY 167! 1. The new phase of MH370 search is expected to start in September. 2. Australian officials have appointed Dutch company Fugro Survey to conduct the search. 3. The Dutch company will use two ships equipped with towed deep-water vehicles, as well as side-scan sonar, multibeam echo sounders and video cameras, to search an area of 60,000 square kilometers (23,000 square miles) and depths of up to 7,000 meters (four miles). 4. Today is rather significant. 167 days into the missing of MH370 there is still no news about the where about of the plane. 5. Though Malaysia has announced the National Day of Mourning today but it is to honour respects to the victims of yet another MAS flight MH17 which was shot above Ukraine during its flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, the families of those on board MH370 are still waiting for the slightest hope. 6. The various announcements about MH370, with many contradicting each other, have made time difficult for the families of those on board MH370 and today as the nation mourns, they will feel even more. 7.
