MH370 KUL - PEK UPDATES DAY 89! 1. It was reported that an audio recording of underwater sounds might have captured the moment MH370 crashed into the ocean. 2. The low-frequency sound was picked up by underwater listening devices in the Indian Ocean off the west coast of Australia on March 8, the same day the Boeing 777 disappeared on a flight from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to Beijing with 239 people on board. 3. Researchers at Curtin University in Western Australia have been analysing the signal to see if it may be the sound of the plane crashing into the ocean. 4. The recording would place the missing plane in the central Indian Ocean – nearly 5,000km from cape Leeuwin on the Perth coastline, outside the original southern Indian Ocean search zone. 5. The recording was made 10 minutes after the plane list contact with the control tower on March 8 2014. 6. Meanwhile the claim of the sailor who saw what seemed to be plane trailing with smoke is being investigated. 7. The authorities will expand the search areas but mains it at the Southern Corridor.
