MH370: No signs of aircraft debris at area where ping signals were detected PETALING JAYA (May 29): The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) will be releasing a formal request for tender to undertake the underwater search in the next phase of search and recovery of the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370. This comes after Bluefin-21 completed its last mission of searching for the missing flight yesterday afternoon around the remaining areas in the vicinity of the acoustic signals detected in early April by the Towed Pinger Locator deployed from ADV Ocean Shield. The search, conducted within its depth operating limits, did not find any signs of aircraft debris. Joint Agency Coordination Center (JACC), in a statement today, said that a single prime contractor will be chosen to bring together and manage the expertise, equipment and vessels to carry out the search.
