MIGHT HAVE BEEN MY BEST 0 FOR 1 EVER. Today Dynamic PT beat a tough Colonial East 5-3 in Senior League softball to bring our record to 15 and 11. I lost my 16-game hitting streak, but the W was worth it. Reached on an E and scored, hit a long sac. fly to plate a big insurance run, then walked in my final AB - also made a catch (playing IF today for the 1st time this season) that our mgr. called a game changer. With Colonial already scoring 2 in the 6th to make it 5-3, one of their good lefties hit a soft liner toward 2nd over my head - I took 2 quick steps into the OF, leaped, caught it, and fired to 1st for an inning ending DP. And a former mgr. of mine in Easton, MD, always used to say that I was a major defensive liability - what an asshat!
