MIKEL: For goodness sake we must learn to give people a chance and also realize that as humans we get tired, we despondent and we make mistakes that shows it is only our spirits that are perfect not us as humans. I have had arguments at home this morning regarding Mikel how hubby and his friends are flaying this boy as if he is a no footballer. There was a time Mikel was the real cream of the crop, the darling buds of May of football and we all hailed him s the hero that he is……..I remember writing about him and his professional prowess. Mikel is not a bad footballer far from it but he had a bad world cup experience this time just like Ronaldo had not perform well but he is the best official footballer in the world. It is so sad for people to want to crucify this boy now and be calling God to punish his father and I read on someone’s post this morning saying they should ban him for not playing well that he is worse than Suarez the biter. Why should God punish Mikel and his father this Nigerian God that is only interested in punishing people I tire o! How can we be this evil and so forgetful easily? During the African Cup of nations this same Mikel brought so much joy to this nation and we all applauded him as one of the best but to call for his head now because he had a bad time is so unfounded and very evil on our part.. Mikel could not have been so bad to be playing for one of the best clubs in Europe today Chelsea. Sometimes in life we are at our elements and sometimes we are so low right at the cesspit let us just allow the boy and respect the fact that he has the right to also have his low moments and I am sure he did his best it may not have been enough for us but that was his best and nothing we could have done about that.. Yes he may have been like a Robert on a low battery but for goodness sake he is still Mikel he may have better times ahead of him again. This idea of throwing away the baby with the basin because the water is dirty is so wrong. Yes I asked for him and Yobo to be left on the bench but Keshi did not have the balls for reasons best known to him….i asked for that because I realized they were not having the best of times in this tournament but to call for Mikel’s head now it is too late to be crying over a spilt milk. Of all that have been written about Mikel this one from Victor Chinedu is so funny. This bro has a way with words hence I am laughing so much. Mikel do suffer for una hand o! Lol. Victor wrote unedited………..What is a Mikel? 1. A Magician: Hes right in front of you for 90 minutes, but you only get to see him for 30 seconds picking up a yellow card. 2. A Mikel is a Nigerian Ferrari with the engine of a Picanto. 3. A Mikel is anything that has weight, occupies space, breathes but remains stationary. 4.A Mikel is a confused strolling object that has no focus. 5. It is an SI unit for measuring deceleration, e.g the car decelerated by 2 mikel/ sec. 6. The botanical name of a snail, Mikelis Obilis. 7. Anybody who can pass the ball but cant shoot, cross, head, or be creative. e.g, My grandma is a Mikel. 8. A mikel is that footballer who is allergic to goals. What does Mikel mean to you? A professor was asked and he has this to say: 1. A mikel can be define as a person/object that runs/walks/hops/strolls/jogs/crawl from one side of the field to the other, eg obi is a mikel. 2. IDIOM: /to be in a mikel with one/: to be tired, lazy, weak, refusing to be active, energetic , or just being lazy with a friend or lover etc. As for that Enyeama guy all I have for him as a goal keeper is utmost respect and nothing less to the very max. For me and my household Vincent Enyeama is the best goal keeper in the world and no one else. Enyeama enough respect bro!. Enough respect. I wish you all you wish you. You are the best. Keshi too big boss done well for himself. ……….Bros well done. From here on the best awaits you. In my books my boys did very well, football as I’ve come to know it is not about who played better but about who scores the goal…..if not we would have glittered like a million stars and so would Algeria too. France was not even all that but just LUCKY and yet it is our president that has the name “LUCK” It does not translate to the real luck just realizing so I am just saying before ehen! Boys did well but it never translated to goals. Another four years beckons. The world waits in anticipation.....
