CV + TRADE TEST to tingaconsulting@gmail Tasks and Responsibilities: • To construct and fabricate steelwork in a mining underground environment • Maintain winders and rock flow equipment • Perform inspections in accordance with the Mine Health & Safety Act regulations, manufacturing and Company standards • Motivate and maintain good relationships with operational personnel • Assign corrective measures and follow-up on outstanding/overdue actions • Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures • Plan and manage training and development of personnel • Must be prepared to work outside normal working hours, shifts and overtime if required to do so Minimum Requirements: • Std 8/Grade 10, NATED 1/NCV Level 1 • Std 10/Grade 12, NATED 3/NCV Level 3 will be to your advantage • Boilermaker Trade Test through a recognized / accredited institution , preferably MQA or MIETTB (Mining Industry Engineering Trade Testing Board) • 3 to 4 years post apprentice experience preferable • Valid Public Drivers’ License (Code EB ) Other Skills / Competencies • Sound knowledge of mining and metallurgy diamond processes will be an advantage • Good verbal and written communication skills in English • Ability to lead and guide team .
