MISSING RESULTS: Can Results go missing, how possible? A number of students have complained about their missing results through different channels to TEVETA. There are a number of reasons why someones results may not come out despite them having sat for that particular subject. The following could be the possible reasons: 1. Writing under protect. There are some students whose names do not come out in the exam register either due to omission or otherwise. Such students are often allowed to sit for the exam and later have their case rectified. But the process of resolving it out between the institution and TEVETA may take longer and results may come out before it is completed. Such students results may not come out with those of their colleagues. 2. Entering wrong subject during the exams. Some students enter wrong subjects during exams without them realizing. The system will indicate that they did not sit for that particular subject because it will be reflecting somewhere else. 3. Exam entry form left out. Some exam entry forms may be left out either by the institution during delivering to TEVETA or omitted during data entry. 4. Skipped names. There are names that could be skipped during results processing my error. HOW TO RESOLVE IT 1. Notify your exam officer as soon as results are out and show proof that you sat for that subject. The exam officer will follow it up with TEVETA for you. Alternatively, you can write to us via Facebook and give us all details so that we advise you on how you can pursue it personally with a letter from the institution. In this case, you will have to pay a fee for TEVETA to do it. When the institution does it, you do not pay anything. Fees for the service range from K120.00 to K650.00 depending on the nature of the issue and what need to be done to rectify the problem. 2. You need to provide proof that you sat for the subject for your case to be attended to and have your results issue rectified. TEVETA will ask your institution for the control sheet containing names of candidates who sat for each programme and subjects they wrote for TEVETA to resolve it.
