MISSION STATEMENT: S&R Animal Rescue is a no kill, nonprofit 501 (c) 3 organization. We are funded totally on the directors funds, adoption fees and the generosity of our contributors. We are a group of volunteer dog lovers whose mission is to rescue, provide sanctuary, and ultimately to re-home owner surrendered adoptable dogs. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. We assist dogs in dire circumstances regardless of breed, age, or ease of adoption. For the safety of all involved we do not knowingly take a vicious/aggressive dog. We promote spay/neuter for all our animals and require that as part of adoption. We do a background check and for the first year we do drop by to see the babies in their homes (periodically and normally by appointment) as well. We ask for regular updates from the adopters, we love to at least see pictures of how they grow up and see them happy in a loving and forever home.
