MLK Weekend Event: Airport Little League Park Clean-up , Saturday January 17th, 2015 from 9-12 pm. Volunteers needed to help remove debris from the Airport Little League Park located at: 6395 Hogan Drive, Sacramento, CA 95822. (Map: portal.cityofsacramento.org/ParksandRec/Parks/Park-Directory/South%20Sacramento/Airport-Park) Parking access is located on 48th Avenue, directly off of 24th Street. Volunteers will be digging out large weeds from around fence line using spade shovels, weed eating with power tool along fence line, raking away lose debris, edging along sidewalk, removing mud and dirt from concrete areas, and removing weeds and grass from the infield of the baseball diamond. As volunteers work, we will also need volunteers to scoop up the debris and place them in the City trailers provided. Come join us in getting the field ready for softball season.
