MODISE Germans to WIN World Cup Modise, who yesterday beat Kaizer Chiefs captain Itumeleng Khune to the regional accolade, told his official website: Germany, for me, are favourites to win the Final and they have my vote. This is because they have been showing a good brand of football that in my opinion has taken over from the Spanish tiki-taka. The Bundesliga was an exciting league to watch in the past season and all German based teams did well in the UEFA Champions League with Borussia Dortmund reaching the quarter-finals and Bayern Munich making it to the semis. Argentina are also well known for their attacking style of play but only depend on a few players. If Lionel Messi does not show up on the day, it will be difficult for them to win. Angel Di Maria is also injured which is another setback for them. Everyone will be expecting Messi to work his magic against a disciplined and talented German side.
