MON 07/07/2014 LORD! SHOW ME YOUR GLORY 1 Ex 33:18-23 It is the appearance of the glory of God that brings about transformation. It doesnt matter the level at which you are operating; you need to know that the glory of God is the golden river that carries transformation. It can take you from your present disappointment and nothingness to a glorious place. It is surprising how Moses got to know the secret that he had to bluntly demand from God to show him His glory, he knew there was much importance to it. Every outstanding event and miracle is always preceded by the glory of God; no man can amount to anything without the revelation of His glory. You may have zeal and know how to struggle through human strength, yet success will be far from you because you have not seen the glory of God. The moment a man comes in contact with the glory of God, Heaven is opened, breakdowns automatically turns to breakthroughs, failures becomes success, trials becomes testimonies, then there will be visible changes. When the glory of God appears to you either in the secret or in the open, the next thing that will take place is that they must definitely see a mark that you have seen the glory of God. It is unfortunate that majority of Christians are looking forward to seeing the hand of God, instead of seeking to see His glory. If God bless you with millions of dollars, you are still going to need Him in order to sustain that blessing. In our text today, Moses already had terrible and unexplainable encounters with God, the Lord had defended him before Miriam and Aaron, He had also made the land to open up and swallow alive the company of Korah, Dathan and Abiram, he had been on the mountain alone with God for forty days to the point that his face began to glitter, yet this prophet of God came down and was seeking to see the glory of God. This gives me an impression that no matter the depth of your encounter with God, you will never be satisfied until you see the glory of God. The Lord offered Moses many other options of His goodness, His blessings, His mercy and several other glorious things, but Moses insisted on the glory of God; no wonder there was nobody that could stand shoulder to shoulder with him all the days of his life. Seek the glory of God, and your life will turn out glorious. PRAYER POINT: -Lord, I receive a revelation of Your glory that will prompt a transformation in my life and destiny today in Jesus name. BIBLE READING PLAN: Josh1:1-18; Ps75:1-10; Zech7:1-14
