MONDAY 20TH OCTOBER, 2O14. TOPIC: Word Therapy. SCRIPTURE: Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it. John 2:7-8 THOUGHT: There is a therapy, treatment, and answer in the Word of God that will treat your situation of disappointment. The Word can handle the kind of challenges that could stop a person in life. When the Word of God is with you, you don’t have to fear disappointment. This was one of the challenges that the Word handled in Cana of Galilee. There are times that people feel disappointed at a certain point in their lives when certain expectations don’t come to pass. But the worst form of disappointment is not the disappointment that you feel about yourself but the disappointment that others feel about you such as when your parents expect you to be taking care of them and you are not yet able to, or when they are expecting you to have grown to a certain level and you are not there yet, and people look at you and are disappointed with you. At the marriage at Cana of Galilee, the invited guests would have looked at the couple with disdain as if to say ‘You are not well prepared, why did you invite us?’ It was a situation of disappointment but the Word of God cured it! You may be getting disappointed in life or maybe people are getting disappointed when they look at you because they expect that your life should be at a certain level and it is not yet there, but I want to let you know that there is a therapy, treatment and answer in the Word of God that will treat your situation of disappointment and that Word is coming your way, in Jesus’ Name. Remember this: there is a therapy, treatment, and answer in the Word of God that will treat your situation of disappointment. ASSIGNMENT (S): Always look for the solution to any challenge in the Word of God.
