MONDAY APRIL 28 MOON IN ARIES/TAURUS Moon enters Taurus 7:23 am (PDT) New Moon Solar Eclipse 9 Taurus 11:14 pm (PDT) The week off to an auspicious start with a mixture of endings and beginnings as the Moon enters sensual Taurus in early morning on its way to a New Moon Solar Eclipse rendezvous with the Sun late tonight. When Mercury the communicator makes an uncomfortable connection with retrograding Mars in late afternoon, it’s a lesson in both patience and persistence. The usual lines of communication may be down or otherwise not operating at peak performance. Verbal aggression is not the winning strategy here. A temporary retreat is probably wise and just that – temporary. Besides, when magnetic Venus catches the eye of transformational Pluto in mid-evening our sulkiness can be turned into attitudes of gratitude with greater awareness of the many blessings in our lives. Something or someone unexpected could cross your path in a delightful way. But if the universe doesn’t provide a prompt, consciously choose something to be thankful for as we close out the lunar cycle. Shortly before midnight (Pacific Time) the Moon meets up with the Sun at 9 Taurus temporarily eclipsing the Sun from our perspective here on Earth. It’s a time of great initiation – starting to move ideas from the planning stages to the physical realm of manifestation. Taurus is an earth sign and concerned with matter and the things we perceive with our five physical senses. Taurus is the architect and the builder. The seeds planted on this New Moon will see the light of day over the next few weeks and months. That doesn’t mean projects or ideas will be fully developed, but the design will be in place.
