MONTROSE TRAILL PAVILION CENTENARY EVENT The Montrose Society invites you…… to join us in celebrating the gift of David and John Traill of the Traill Pavilion to the Royal Burgh on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary – at 12.00 NOON ON THURSDAY 8th AUGUST 2013 • Exhibition of vintage pictures and postcards featuring the pavilion • Talk by “Gabler Ender” Forbes Inglis on the Traill bothers and their gift to Montrose • Talk by Montrose Society architectural historian Sandy Munro on the building and its subsequent history • Listen to music featured on an original play list of Gramophone records played at the Pavilion • Re-creation of iconic photograph of the original opening ALL COMERS ARE WELCOME To contribute to the period atmosphere please wear a hat or garment of the era – BRING OUT YOUR BOATER, BONNIE BONNET, BOWLER, TOP HAT, BOATING BLAZER ETC!
