MOORE, Okla. — A Nicoma police officer collected money from coworkers at his department and at his second job at a car dealership to purchase a new bike for a boy who had his bike stolen last week. Coleman Osbon, 14, who lives with autism, worked all summer to save up to buy his bike, only to have it stolen at knife point by two unidentified males, according to KFOR. “It just hit me in the gut that somebody would attack, you know, a child that already deals with so much in his life,” said Officer James Hall, who hand-delivered an upgraded version of the bike Osbon had bought. The suspects were captured on surveillance camera and are being sought by police. “We can’t control what happens in life, but there are people out there like us that are willing to step up and help out,” said Officer Hall. “There’s more good guys than bad guys.” CJS
