MORNING MOTIVATION: LEAD AN ISSUE BASED LIFESTYLE! Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. (Proverbs 4:23KJV) Friend, most of the time we have heard politicians say: Let us practice issue based campaigns. That is a serious and truthful statement. More often than not, you and I miss it in life. What do we do? We neglect, play down or discount the issues and focus on our reputation. When we step into this dimension, meekness dies and pride begins to rule our life. We will do everything to defend our reputation. We will not mind what happens to other peoples or Gods reputation. In the meantime, the issues of life keep multiplying. Hear this: The best way to build a great reputation that outlives you is to forsake your reputation and focus on the issues of life. Our business is to manage the issues of life and Gods business is to manage our reputation with all dilligence. Go hard on the issue and soft on the person. Do we have an example? Yes! All great leaders in history and in our time, are issue based people. Abraham, put his reputation on the line several times to deal with the issues of life. God made him great! Adam & Eve neglected attending to the issue of life to build their reputation and God pulled them down. Jesus will forever be the greatest leader because: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:........Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: (Philippians 2:5-9KJV). Issue based lifestyle is the key to the top in life because it will call you to be meek, put a premium on peoole and also walk in genuine love. However, a reputation focused life anywhere makes people insecure, insincere, proud and dictatorial. If Jesus being God made himself of no reputation to come and deal with issues here on earth, that is the key to the top most top. This is why we hear: Be down to earth. This is the cure to strife, competition and being offended in life. Therefore: be empowered to live a winning life: lead an issue based life and practice issue based campaigns. Every time ask: What is the issue? Get hard on the issue and soft on the person. Deal with the sin and set free the sinner. Deal with the leprosy and set free the lepper. Live, lead and run your marriage and life at the issue level all the time. Receive the grace! Shalom!
