MOTORHOME INSURANCE... I NEED A RANT..... Since motorhoming I was always with Safeguard for 10 years up until Jan 2013.. Only changed to Comfort (Aviva) as we were heading for Morocco and they offered a claim back on any breakdowns. So had their insurance for 2013 and 2014.. Last year paid £335 inc a green card. Safeguard have emailed and post mailed me this week so decided to call them and get a quote... £492 !!!!!!! I laughed and told them I currently pay low £300s, after being on hold for a few seconds they could now add some extra special discount so its £299... Amazing.. Why do these people mess about so much and try to con you.. Grr.. Out of principle I may not use them and give someone else an extra few quid, they have me on their system as an old customer and they are chasing me for the business...!!! ah thats better
