MOURN-(Y)OU-MENTAL. If I die, When I die... Let my name be engraved Upon the broken heart of that widow Whose hungry palm, I denied the luxury of A green sheaf of polymer At the market square. Let my name be immortalized In the blood stained tear drops Of that feeble lad, Whose parched throat I denied a cup of cold water, Because he was clothe in rags. Let my name be epitaphed On the tombstone of that man, That dying man, Who was lying among debris, In a pool of blood, Hands outstretched, eyes in plea; For my atom of care. But I didnt have a damn to give, Nor a care to share! Let my nonchalance be stowed In the conscience of that kid, That youth, whose innocence I prod and lured into thuggery To steal me ballots. Let my name be regenerated, In the genes of that sputumed Foetus; my miniature, Whose umbilical ties I severed Because he was premature.... If I die, When I die.... To be continued.......
