MPs Sentenced The Court of Cassation presided over by Justice Saleh Al-Mureishid overturned the verdict of the Appeals Court that acquitted former MPs Falah Al- Sawagh, Khaled Al-Tahous and Bader Al-Dahoum in the state security case filed by Public Prosecution. The court sentenced the three defendants to 20 months in prison with hard labor, and ordered suspension of the sentence for three years with KD 2000, besides a pledge they signed to be of good conduct. Earlier, the Court of Appeals rejected the verdict of First Instance Court that sentenced the defendants to three years imprisonment with hard labor for offending the entity of HH the Amir.
