Augment storage facilities and minimizing wastages would be critical to sustain growth trajectory in the coming times. o Ensure credit availability to small & marginal farmers to adopt modern farm techniques and implement a farm insurance scheme to take care of croploss due to natural calamities. o Augmenting storage capacities, modernizing/upgrading/rebuilding godowns. o Increase public investments in agriculture sector to improve agriculture infrastructure from farm gate to agriculture markets. o Set up ‘agro food processing clusters’ with high value, export quality and vacuum packed food processing facilities, etc which will provide better income to farmers. o Private sector participation in food processing to enhance capacity building in the value chain and to promote technological innovations. · On the socio economic front, there is a need for a comprehensive healthcare. Women and Child Healthcare to be made priority. · Create information hub for providing comprehensive information on market access to exporters. · Skill development by increasing the centers. · Women’s welfare and development to be accorded a high priority at all levels · Special business facilitation center for women to be set up. · MSME: Enhanced Capital Investment limits. New guidleines for definition of MSME. o Banks to provide flexible credit facility o Awareness programme pertaining to incentives available to MSME sector o Extensive marketing support thru setting up of exhibition cum trade centers to promote MSME products within India and aborad . o Finance should be made available at 5%-6% to MSME’s and procedures to take loans should be made simplified. o Skill development and capacity building should be encouraged and supported in the MSME’s sector so as to boost up employment opportunities and entrepreneurial spirits. o Single window clearance mechanism should be devised in all states so as to expedite the approval process for several aspects. o Flexible and tailor made working capital solutions to MSME enterpreneurs such as recievable financing and advance to suppliers. · Infrastructure: o Industrial corridor for development of Power, Energy, Education, Agriculture, on smart lines of smart city · Urban development & Housing o Based on Smart cities and satellite cities.
