#MSwx - Good Evening Mississippi! After a chilly start to the day, temperatures warmed into the mid-80s under mostly sunny skies. The clear skies will persist throughout the overnight leading to another chilly morning across the Magnolia State. Low temperatures will once again dip into the mid to upper-50s across the area by your early commute Wednesday. Expect a slight warming trend as we head into the weekend with highs by Friday in the upper-80s under partly to mostly cloudy skies. A quick look ahead to the weekend shows that it might be a wet one, at least the second half of the weekend. Most of Saturday, we look to stay dry, albeit a bit cloudier than this work week. All high school and most collegiate games should go off without the need for rain gear. By Saturday night and early Sunday, showers and storms will begin to push northward from the gulf, and some areas could see some heavy rain totals by the first few days of next week. Keep the umbrellas handy!
