#MSwx - Good Evening Mississippi! Hopefully youve absorbed a surplus of Vitamin-D from this recent streak of sunshine, because clouds and stormy weather are moving back towards the Magnolia State. Well still see mostly clear skies tonight and low temps in the lower-60s by Friday morning. By tomorrow afternoon, well hold on to mostly sunny skies with highs rising into the upper-80s. There will be no rain to worry about for high school football, but collegiate ball on Saturday could be a different story. Take the rain gear with you if youre heading to Lorman or Hattiesburg for the games on Saturday. Well see just scattered storms through the afternoon and evening hours with highs in the mid-80s. Better chances for rain will move in early Sunday and you can expect on-and-off heavy rain throughout the second half of the weekend. Im not saying you should invest in a boat, but some rainfall totals could be heavy by the time all is said and done on Monday. Localized flooding could also be possible as rain totals could exceed 2-4 in some areas. By Monday afternoon, well start to clear back out and warm back up into the upper-80s by the end of next week.
