MTCP 2014 - AN UPDATE Dear Friends & colleagues, As an alumni, coordinator & organising chairperson of MTCP 2014, it is incumbent upon me to keep you all updated with recent developments. We are making excellent progress and Im indeed pleased to inform that Our Dean, Dr.K. Mahadevan, has consented to preside as the Chief Guest on this occasion. Im currently very involved with arranging for funding and financing the event. Contributions have come from a few co-sponsors. Those who are interested in contributing are most welcome to do so and may contact me directly. It will be very much appreciated and your contributions will be chronicled in the post event report. More recently, I have restructured the organising committee as a very few members expressed their inability to devote adequate time due to personal commitments. Although this program has been organised under the banner of TMC Worldwide Alumni Association with the idea of like-minded people coming together, I have realised now that a formal, full-fledged, official association need to be formed, as a fall back for support at times of need, in the future, for any event. Dr. Manickavasagam Muthusamy has graciously agreed to take this responsibility of organising an alumni association and hopes to work with a robust committee.
