MUSLIMS ARE NO LONGER SAFE IN NIGERIA Truly there is more to this issue than what eyes can see. It is crystal clear that Muslims are no longer safe in this country. This latest arm deal of the Christian association of Nigeria in collaboration with the federal government was not the first time the pastors would be involved in arm smuggling into the country. There were news reports by Daily Trust Newspaper of Saturday, 2nd November on arrest of CAN Military operatives by the police “for operating illegal security outfit” in Jalingo, Taraba State. On January 11th 2012, two Nigerians, Sunday Eze from Anambra State and one Samuel Taiwo from Ogun State with three other Ghanains were arrested in Ghana, with heavy weaponry, carefully concealed in a truck. All these were swept under the carpet without any investigation. The latest threat by pastor Bosun Emmanuel (the lion of CAN) to take over the south west by all means in his lecture delivered recently should be of more concern to the generality of Muslims. We agree to be at peace but how are we sure our continue silence will not get us all wipe out from the country where others are allowed to accumulate large consignments of arms for orchestrated goals? A country where Muslims are always the victim and everything does by Christian is always right.
