MUST CHRISTIANS CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS?.....Well, theres a lotta heresies concerning this. Its not in the Bible, Nobody celebrated Jesus birthday in the bible, Pagans birthed the idea, How do we know its 25th December?, 25th December was the birthday of a Pagan prince...etc. Well, the whole idea that 25th December was taken from the pagans goes back to two scholars from the late 17th and early 18th centuries, Paul Jablonski and Jean Hardouin respectively. BUT, If I came here to inform you based on mans HISTORY, then my efforts are USELESS, so lets take this on Biblically! Lets allow the BIBLE to take us to the ROOT OF THE CHRISTMAS CONTROVERSY! Firstly lemme address those who so condemn the Pagans, Please note that it was Pagans(The Wise Men) who followed the Star, It was Pagans(Wise men) who said, Where is the newborn King of the Jews? We have seen His star in the East, and WE HAVE COME TO WORSHIP HIM.-(Matthew 2:1-2). God chose Pagans to give His Son gifts, not religious folks. Thats Favour! You know what? The ROOT of the matter is NOT THE PAGANS, but THE SPIRIT OF ERROR! Lemme explain. The Spirit of Error has ONE MAJOR TASK!, To prove that Jesus NEVER came in the Flesh(never born). And since Christmas is the Celebration of God coming in flesh, they dispute it. 1 John 4:1-6 clearly explains this, it says, Every Spirit that confesses that JESUS CHRIST HAS COME IN THE FLESH(Christmas) is of God, and every spirit that DOES NOT CONFESS that Jesus Christ has come in the Flesh IS NOT OF GOD, This is the spirit of the Antichrist......by this we know the Spirit of Truth and The Spirit of Error.. To oppose Christmas is to ARGUE WITH THE TRUTH THAT JESUS CAME IN THE FLESH. But the devil is smart, he wont say it plainly, so he uses subtle arguments, like dates, day, months to divert focus from The Error Spirits Main Agenda. John 1:14 confirms that The Word became Flesh(Christmas)....full of Grace and truth. This is why the only part of HISTORY we need to focus on is HIS-STORY.(1 Corinthians 2:2) Its about time we shed more light on the CHRIST in CHRISTMAS! We celebrate a Person, not a day, month or year! IS IT WRONG TO USE A FEW DAYS TO CELEBRATE HE WHO CREATED DAYS? CERTAINLY NOT! If you have a problem with the date, then you really got issues....Renew your mind! So to my opening question, the Biblical answer is YEEESSSSSS! Thank u Lord!
