MUST READ: Now that I have a chance to reflect, I have to chat briefly about my experience last night at El Paso pride.. Since drag race has started I have been booked with them and everytime there is a meet and greet.. Then, I never really thought to much of it and just payed it. Because during that time I knew they were the headliner and thats who the patrons came to see and wanted to take a picture with.. The past few years I found myself participating in the meet and greets and still really didnt think much of it until last night.. Hrh Mike Tafoya has always included me in the meet and greet and is the first PErson to do so. Well last night there were 5/6 drag race girls including myself. So from the start I was already defeated (within myself) and discouraged, which to me, was ok because in my mind I havent been on tv like that so I knew that they were in the fore front. I kept saying it even before night started I wasnt doing the meet and great and they (the patrons) did not want to take pictures with me. I had accepted that. So after the first set we had the meet amd greet. Expressing this to Latrice Royale I was still in that mode but I went anyway.. so we go to the VIP section I wasnt in 30 secs and this lady and her daughter greeted ME at the door. She had expressed to me that she was such a fan of mine and that she and her daughter Doris Smith Holmes-Burkey; watches me all the time. My heart dropped, even giving an example of one of my videos she like the more. Lord and tears started to form..long story short. THE MORAL OF THIS STORY IS: NEVER DOUBT WHAT YOU HAVE PUT INTO THIS WORLD. THE HARD WORK, ALL THE SHOWS, ALL THE SMILES, ALL THE HAND SHAKES, ALL THE JUMPING OFF THINGS, BREAKING BOOTS, ONCORES WHEN CLEARLY IM ABOUT TO PASS OUT LOL. ALL FOR THE POSITIVE AND TO MAKE YOU MY FANS HAPPY, CAME IN PERSPECTIVE FOR ME LAST NigHT. Self realization set in and I realized I am just as big as they are and you never know what you have done until someone brings it to your attention.. I am a star and I was blessed last night to share the stage with some amazing people. Thank u auntie latrice for getting me together.. I can only imagine where Gods about to take me and you know What, I am ready!!!! I hope I encouraged somebody on today.. #knowyourworth #beyourownfan #loveyourself #lovewhatyoudo. Your patrons do.
