MY AFRICAN AMERICAN PEOPLE! Ok, Im on my gig tonight and Im singing CeeLos Forget You. The lyrics in this song says YES ,SHES A GOLDDIGGER, GUESS YOU SHOULD KNOW NIGGA. My band changed the word nigga to SUGGA . Didnt this young white girl, singing along with me sing the word nigga like it was NOTHING! While my first thought was to SLAP HER BRAINS OUT, I had to think...shes only singing what she heard when she learned the lyrics. So, what can I say, when my OWN people writing this BULLSHIT?....nigga this, nigga that.....I personally dont think she meant any harm , BUT...SHE SAID IT STRAIGHT TO MY FACE ...Like it wasnt SHIT!!! To my fellow vocalists and musicians...I would like to know how you would have felt if you were in my shoes tonight. There were approximately 4 African American people,including myself at this event. Rappers, you write this stuff. Are you ready to see white people in your audience using the word NIGGA like theyre referring to an angel or a puppy? I did not like it one bit, but what can I say or do when my people write this shit and sell it. IM BAFFLED. Id like to hear what you think. Please dont put no stupid shit on my page. Im serious!
