MY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THE SAMSUNG PRODUCT !!! Information to All TV users, Last year I bought a 3D LED TV (46”) in Madurai from Vasanth&CO with a prize of around Rs. 1,40,000. After11thmonth of the purchase date,TV started blinking and it was assumed that it could be because of a loose power connection problem.Unfortunately after 12thmonth once when the warranty expired TV became BLANK. After my complaint by phone, One of the Samsung Service Engineercame and checked the TV and informed that display panelwas faulty. Also he informed that, it is one of the rarest rare cases involving one out of 1000 product. He agreed that it could not be a customer fault and promised to find out whether anymanufacturing fault could be there. After checking with Service Centerwe were informed that we have to pay around Rs. 44,500 for getting the panel replaced. I left with no choice other than writing a complaint letter with all the copy of the original purchase documents to Madurai Samsung Service Center, which was forwardedto Chennai Head Office. After a while I was informed by Samsung that a discount of Rs 9,200 will be given and I had to pay for panel replacement around Rs 35,300 (Total charges including new panel + Taxes they quoted as Rs 44,500). Now can anyone believe me if I say I am a PROUD owner of SAMSUNG LED TV? If as per their claim that SAMSUNG is one of the best company’s then the product delivered to the customer should be really good a good one or at least it’s servicing should be cost effective, We went by the name of the Company and choose the product. Though there are so many cheaper products which is offering the same facility, we bought SAMSUNG TV paying huge price with the idea that we are paying the price for it’s quality and unfortunately it proved to be a mistake as SAMSUNG LED TV failed just a day after its warranty period of a year. I TRUSTED SAMSUNG AND BOUGHT A LED TV AND COMPANY COULD NOT KEEP UP THE TRUST BECAUSE THEY SOLD ME A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. BUT SEE THE DIFFERENCE, UNTRUSTWORTHY COMPANY DID NOT TRUST ME AND COLLECTED Rs 25000/ AS AN ADVANCE BEFORE TAKING THE TV FOR REPAIRING AND HANDED OVER ONLY AFTER FULL PAYMENT. WORST OF ALL IS, SAMSUNGFOR THE JOB THEY HAVE CARRIED OUT THEY THEMSELVES ARE NOT READY TO GIVE WARRANTY. SO APART FROM THE FACT THAT THEY ARE NOT IN A POSITION TO CONTROL THE QUALITY OF THEIR PRODUCT THEY DO NOT HAVE QUALITY PERSONS AND HENCE BEFORE PURCHASING ANY PRODUCT FROM SAMSUNG EVERYONE SHOULD PRAY TO GOD AND SEEK LUCK IN ORDER TO STAY AWAY FROM FUTURE TROUBLES FROM THEIR PRODUCTS. THINK BEFORE SPENDING YOUR MONEY, THINK MORE THAN TWICE BEFORE TRUSTING A COMPANY AND THINK SEVERAL TIME AND SEEK ADVICE BEFORE CHOOSING SAMSUNG.
