MY BEST FRIEND AND HER SON CASPER !!! Casper was diagnosed at the age of 14 with a serious brain tumor. Since then Casper has undergone FOUR major brain surgeries and a YEAR of chemotherapy. The most recent operation to remove part of the mass caused a stroke, which has left Casper with nerve, vision and movement issues. Time is now of the essence as the balance of the tumor must be removed urgently or it will continue to grow in places where surgery will not be effective. Casper has little time left, he is now 19. Casper needs to get to America for a Life Saving Operation at the USA SCRIPPS, Medical Centre, which offers a state of the art PROTON treatment, which is not yet available in Australia. I am proud to be involved with a team fundraising for Casper to help him and Louise get to America for this life saving treatment ,which has a 95 percent success rate. Casper could be your child, husband, brother or friend !!! He happens to be my best friends son, who I have watched grow up over the last 13 years.
