MY LETTER TO OUR GOVERNOR AT A TIME LIKE THIS. H.E Chief Sir Willie Obiano, Sir, this letter is not one of those letters of may be sycophants who will tell all is well when the house is on fire. It is a letter to thank you for all the amazing works that you have undertaken in Anambra State in this short time, particularly in the area of securing our state. That singular legacy stood tall at the forefront of the debate about democracy and empowerment of our people because the doors of our state have now opened to more investments and development of our state. We today have the courage to embrace the future and our people residing in Diaspora can now come home to become agents of change and transferors of technologies they learnt abroad. We have accepted that we have a lot to do to make politics and development the focus of our idealism and our hopes for a better Anambra State. Sir do not forget our vision and purpose as a party that is determined to make Poverty History in our state, do not deviate from the four pillars you anchored our government on, keep firing until we hit all the targets. Do not be distracted, do not fear nor worry about anything because you are the Chief Executive officer of our state and the buck stops on your table, with the support of Ndi Anambra you will do more and we are determined to support you more to do more. With you , we (APGA) talk about change and give it substance; you promised to end Kidnapping, under six months it became history in Anambra, Kudos our working governor. We have no reason to fail, we have no reason not to work and we have no reason not to keep the promises we made. However, Sir at a time like this, have four eyes and ears;H.E look well in your house and figure out the spying eyes in your house before they smear you, prune your house and ensure it is free from men of double standard. A word is enough for a wise. Again Anambra South people said we should tell you that they need the office of SSG, that Anambra North cannot have the Governor and Speaker, then Anambra Central is having the Deputy governor, the people of Anambra South said we should tell you to give them the office of SSG in the spirit of continuity, equity and fair play. They said that the people of the Anambra South Senatorial zone is cheated in the whole arrangement of your government even after voting for APGA heavily. Precisely, sir the people of OLD AGUATA said they should be given the SSG if APGA still need their support. This is for your kind consideration and implementation. Akpokuedike, keep on working and championing of the renewal of politics of the people’s interest, keep on working because if you do not keep your words of transforming this state, it will not only mean the end of APGA, it will mean we shall all join hands to use our vote to stop you when it is time to do so. Do not pay attention to all these partisan jangle over embarked upon by your friends and party men whose interests have now clashed with the people’s interest, pay attention to the masses, pay attention to the people of Anambra; work for them, work for our future, for that was the only thing that saved Dr Ngige when the Mafias came hard on him. Embrace the people and work for them because they are the people whose mandate you hold on trust. We the people shall swim with you, or even sink with you if need be, keep on working because we are watching and are with you. May God’s grace and wisdom be your shield, and we the people the strength with which you lead so long as you keep faith with the people. Regards, MUOZOBA JOHNBOSCO, PRO APGA FRONT
