Eating a lot of carbohydrate rich foods, such as cakes, cookies, candy, bread, donuts, pasta, etc. can raise your risk for heart disease and diabetes, but not all carbohydrates are bad. Whole grains, beans, fruits and vegetables help fuel our bodies and gives us vital nutrients and fiber. Chose healthy carbohydrates for your diet.
