Mabry Mill in Action As I was driving north on the Blue Ridge Parkway, the predawn eastern sky showed hints of pastel pinks against the blue. This made me hopeful for a brilliant sunrise colors that I could possible add to an image I hoped to capture of Mabry Mill, but that was not too be. Before reaching the mill, I began driving through heavy banks of fog, reducing visibility to near zero, however upon reaching the mill I was glad that at this elevation I was under the fog bank. Here in the background ‘puffs’ of fog are visible moving across the landscape as the mill wheel spins during its daily grind a short time after this image was made the fog layer dropped and was so thick the mill was barely visible across the pond before clearing for the morning… Share it if you like it, become a fan if you’re not… all comments are very much appreciated. f/32 – 1 sec. – ISO 100 –70-200mm @ 200mm More photos at; https://facebook/imagesbydan
