Mac photos & update. It was a short visit, but Mac did really well with Huey, and Huey did his best to show Mac the ropes! Mac was willing to visit with some campers, hes coming along socially! Vet check up was good, new antibiotics - more specific to skin issues, fish oil supplement & word that it could take 3-4 months more of ivermectin/antibiotics (typical treatment is 3-6 mos, his demodex was severe, hince a longer period). Ears are clear now. Again, current foster can only keep him until Aug 24th, so we would like to get him placed with a permanent family by then, or at least a new foster situation. Mac is making great progress, he will likely always have some level of issue with people that move too fast, but he is doing incredibly well considering where he was just 3 short weeks ago. Please help us find Macs forever family, this guy deserves a permanent, loving home. He is cat and dog friendly, next test will need to kids - hes coming out of his shell so maybe a family w/ kids can work!
