Machines. Talking to freakin machines to change itineraries! Yesterday, I had to cancel a train journey and the operator told me that they would deduct 10% for it. I was like Its not like I asked for a gunman to delay my flight and therefore my onward journey! And then he transferred me to another department... where an automated message spoke to me for over 20 minutes. I hung up and called again, spoke to Julie who is an automated operator who then transfers you to a person after asking you some questions. I let rip this time and said it was absurd that I would be charged money for something that was out of my control. Thankfully, I was refunded all of my money. Now, I am on hold with Virgin America. Its been 40 minutes now. Yesterday, it was 1 hour 23 minutes. Cant change flights until someone picks up the phone.
