Macks bone Marrow transplant completed on Wednesday. Early in the morning the donor marrow was taken from his sweet little sister, Scout, in the OR. It was infused into Mack very soon after. Now is a very rough time for him. He hadnt eaten for 5 days of so he is now getting TPN (feeding via his central line). Hes also in a lot of GI pain so hes getting morphine. The last update from Mom was that his skin is irritated and peeling due to the pre-transplant radiation and they were going to do an Abdominal ultrasound to rule out any other cause for his pain. The post transplant period is a long, hard process. Please continue to pray for Macks complete and total healing, and love to surround this dear family. Also pray that the pain and side effects are relieved for this precious little warrior. God bless you all.
