Maddie is about to hit the road running with so much going on (and all good stuff!!) With the presentation of the Countdown Kids Appeal cheque to the hospital today I cant say enough how awesome Countdown is to do this every year, it really really makes a difference - it hits grass roots - we as high users really really get the benefit of the support that they give to our local hospital having the right equipment for paed patients is ideal but sometimes the budget doesnt cover everything this is a great support!! . So every year when it comes around I dont say it lightly when I say to support Countdown as the money that you support in your area stays in your area for the paediatric services - its just AWESOME!! Tomorrow its drama exams in the afternoon, then Christmas in the Park Saturday night -then Sunday its Christchurch Kidney Society/Kidney Kids Christmas Party and her end of year class function - games of laser strike. Monday kicks off with chapel in the evening and Maddie is playing Mary in the play - she is very excited - maybe a bit to excited and informed Nana my mum Elaine that she had to be at school at 6.15am on Monday morning and was quite adamant this was the time - it took a bit of convincing that it was in the evening! End of year prize giving this week as well as her last week of school for the year - last week in junior school as next year its that big leap up to middle school. Where has the year gone - thats now 2 years at school woo hoo for this!! So as you can see from this post its all bit normal........and exciting!!
